News Release: CALL FOR BUSINESSES - Trick or Treat on the Trail with the City of Gretna

CALLING ALL BUSINESSES!
The City of Gretna would like to formally invite your business to join us for our first Trick or Treat on the Trail at Lincoln Place Park!

This event will take place for two hours in the afternoon of Saturday, October 26th. The time is to be determined due to the Husker vs Ohio State game not having a time posted yet. I am expecting it to be an afternoon/night game and will ensure this event takes place and finishes prior to the start of the game. 

It costs $25 to participate in this event as a vendor, and that money will go towards the pumpkins and supplies to keep this free for our attendees (candy NOT included). We encourage games and decorating to make it an immersive experience for the families, and there are perks for you in participating in this! Run a game to get your booth on the event map which will have a star next to your spot to ensure our guests visit your booth and play your game. Decorate with spooky Halloween décor and our guests will vote on the best decorated booth at the end of the trail. The winning business will receive free entry into next year’s Trick or Treat on the Trail and will have the chance to pick their spot! We also will offer you a chance to donate a prize item for our costume contest, there are five divisions with one winner in each division. 
The groups will range from:
Infants
2-5 years
6-10 years
11-15 years
Family

Check out our Facebook event! This was posted recently, and we already have over 500 people interested in this event. There will be a heavy marketing push for this as well through emails, posters around the city and social media marketing to ensure we have an amazing turnout of trick or treaters and great exposure for your business.  We also have teamed up with the Lincoln Place HOA who will help us make it even more of a success as they have over 400 homes in the neighborhood with a lot of families.
