HEARTLAND FAMILY SERVICE SAFE HAVEN GOLF TOURNAMENT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES
Heartland Family Service will hold its 31st annual Safe Haven Golf Tournament on Friday, August 16 at Eagle Hills Golf Course in Papillion.
Last year, nearly $48,000 was raised during the event. The support provided helps survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, including Safe Haven, which is a concealed emergency shelter to protect men, women, and children from violence. Comprehensive services such as crisis counseling, advocacy and safety planning are also supported.
Registration time for the event is set for 7:00 A.M. with tee off to follow one hour later at 8:00 A.M.
Event ticket and sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $125 to $3,000+. Participants will compete for prizes and, following the event, there will be an awards luncheon recognizing accomplishments.
