    Dangerous snow and ice conditions continue to stretch across the nation, resulting about 20,000 uncollected donations since the beginning of the year – a number that has already surpassed the total amount of uncollected donations due to last winter’s weather. With the threat of more storms approaching, it’s critical to keep the blood supply stable for patients relying on transfusions. Where it’s safe to do so, make an appointment to give blood or platelets.
