We have 49 sworn officers serving a smaller city (25,407 residents). You get the small town feel with the amenities of the metro area.

Papillion Officers are offered career growth through numerous special duty assignments and teams such as: Investigations, K9, SRO, DARE, Crime Prevention, specialized instructorships (Firearms, DT, Active Killer, etc), Drone Team, Crash Team, Sarpy SWAT, Sarpy Tactical Medical Team, Negotiations Team, Sarpy Search & Rescue & Dive Teams, Sarpy Force Investigations Team, Metro Honor Guard, and other opportunities.

Starting salary is $32.25 to $39.13 per hour, based upon qualifications, with opportunity upwards to $46.59.
