Job Description:
As an Electrical Journeyman, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will work independently and alongside other team members to ensure compliance with all relevant codes and safety standards while maintaining the highest quality of work.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Wiring: Install and connect electrical systems, wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, lighting, and other electrical components in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Maintenance & Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including diagnosing faults, replacing components, and ensuring systems are operational and safe.

Code Compliance: Ensure that all electrical installations and repairs meet local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical drawings to plan and execute installations and repairs.

Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding electrical work.

Team Collaboration: Work with other electricians, apprentices, and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.

Safety: Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to all safety regulations and practices.

Documentation: Maintain precise and comprehensive records of all electrical work completed, materials utilized, and project timelines. Effectively utilize our software system to manage customer billing and facilitate communication.
Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program.

Valid Journeyman Electrician License (as required by the state or region).

Experience/Requirements:

3+ years of experience working as an electrician, including residential, commercial, and/or industrial work.

Employees are required to supply their own hand tools, impact drill, and bits for daily use.

Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC) and safety standards.

Ability to interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
